Hi! Even though it has been a couple weeks since I was in the studio, I thought I would reminisce a little bit anyhow.
When I began working on recording some of my songs for a full length album a couple years ago, I had the initial intention of doing just that. Recording a group of my songs and self releasing my first solo album. Over the course of time I’ve become a bit more open to working on releasing a couple songs at a time (and not just waiting to release them all as a unit in the album format). I am nostalgic about the idea of an “album” however, so I suppose that with time and more recordings, I will eventually get there. In the interim, I feel quite good about releasing a song or two at a time, and it’s nice that the shape of the way music is shared with the world has changed and expanded so much.
